Community Screening

Join Natasha Mayers and filmmakers Anita Clearfield and Geoffrey Leighton at Sheepscot General Store for a community screening of Natasha Mayers: an Un-Still Life on August 27! Come early to enjoy delicious pizza and live music from the Copacetic Collective Band, view Natasha’s art, try on some of Natasha’s famous parade props for a selfie at the photo booth, and grab a seat for the 8pm screening. Stick around after the film for a talkback session with Natasha, Anita, and Geoff.

Location: Sheepscot General Store, 98 Townhouse Road, Whitefield
Admission: Free for all and all are welcome!
Food/Beverage: Please no outside food or beverages (aside from water) before 8pm. Pizza will be available for purchase from 5:30-8pm – limited quantities available, so order early! Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase before 8pm. And, the Whitefield School National Junior Honor Society will sell popcorn as a fundraiser!

WHAT TO BRING & COVID PRECAUTIONS:

  1. The film screening will take place in Sheepscot General’s quonset hut, and we ask that everyone wear a mask while seated to view the film. Thank you for protecting others and yourself by wearing a mask!
  2. The outdoor activities before the film will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing. Please give fellow attendees ample space to enjoy themselves, and wear a mask when appropriate.
  3. If you’re joining us before the screening for pizza and music, you may want to bring a camp chair/picnic blanket for comfortable plein aire dining.

Please note that this event will follow the letter and the spirit of prevailing safety guidelines, including crowd limits, physical distancing, and face mask recommendations.
